Default Grill Lights

Hey guys so I'm curious about lights that fit behind the grill. I'm looking for more light while driving at night. I have the lame front bumper that doesn't have the fog lights. I have HIDs in the headlights but I'm still wanting more light and I dont want to use my Offroad lights on the street for obvious reasons. My question is will grill lights provide more light or are they more for aesthetic purposes? If they do provide more lighting then what are some good ones that you guys recommend?

They will definitely provide more light but it all depends on the lights you get. If you want to have lights while driving dont get anything over 100w (max) and get driving style not pencil or fogs.

Get four 6" lights. Two spots and two floods, of at least 100w, 130w is even better. Here's my setup, pm me if you have any questions
Two 6" 35w HIDs and tow 9" 100w halogens

If you installed HID's without the correct headlight housings (projection), then this explains your lack of light. There are so many folks that buy the HID kits (bulbs and boxes) and replace the standard bulb. All this does is produce a light "splatter", along with what folks think is a cool blue look. It seems most folks want "cool" over function. HID's need projection type headlight housings.

You'll get more light by putting in a set of sylvania silverstar bulbs.

Nope didn't put in correct housing. Just put them in the stock housing but they are still super bright! I just recently got my headlights tinted though so they're not as bright anymore.

I dont know much about ones you can use while driving, but I love the KC Daylighters..I have them in 130w (offroad) and they are very bright. I know Hellas are good too.

Like 06f150 said... KC and Hella are really good. You can go cheap though and get some from walmart or your autoparts store although I'm not sure how well they will work.
