grill guard
hey man i didnt put it on there for looks. im goin to a small private college in west Texas. i was on my way back the other day and saw 22 deer on a 80 mile stretch of highway. i no this thing probly couldnt stand up to a deer at 70 mph but if i could hit the brakes and then hit um i no it can stand up. my dads got ones of these on his f350 n hes hit 7 deer n it still looks like new. also i figured it would b better to spend 360 bucks on this than on a 500 dollar deductable later on.
i have yet to see a brushguard hold up to deer, everybody and there brother has them and i love when they hit a deer and it wraps around the whole front, quite funny. maybe those are way better built but if you like it, that's what counts. i've counted 30 deer in 10 mile stretch to work, never hit any yet, yet..lol
i was going to get a guard like your but i figure if i was going to spend any money i might as well get a full replacement (boondocks, road armor) bumper. spent about 400 more but the steel bumper will take way more punishment than the ranch hand guard. Not doggin you it still looks good, but the full replacement is the way to go imo
im glad you havnt hit a deer yet. but theres always a first for everything. im not tryin to b rude but y do u think i choose the name paralizer on here. im n a wheel chair and i have to use hand controls to drive. so my reaction time is slightly off from urs. so if i didnt have the bumper and i hit a deer the airbag would go off and it could possobily break my arm and id be royally srewed since i hav to use them to get around. im not made of money and my parents arent RICH so if i buy stuff i do my research on it. ranch hand is one of the best when it comes to sturdy dependable grill guards. and like i said my dad has on just like it on his truck and its hit 7 deer. it still looks new the powder coating isnt even scratched. i would no i was driving when one of the 7 where hit. and it was a big 180 lbs 9 point old buck. i knock his *** off the road and keeped on going.

very true, im getting the basic replacement (with out the brush guard or headlight guards) an i didnt think 700 was to bad. specially for how strong they are
