Great day
So get this. My buddy wins an online auction to Ford here in Regina. He pays $500 for a $1000 gift card/store credit. He spends $125 and asks me if I want to buy the rest from him. I have to buy my wife tires which I priced out at $540 for her focus. So I pay my friend $500 and get the tires and priced out the install for the leveling kit($300). So I have to buy the kit and it's all paid for. My other friend is part owner of an accessory shop here and I know he's into R/C trucks. I email him and say I'll trade you my EMAXX for the Ready Lift kit in his shop. Thinking he just say no. He says yes and it's a done deal.
The Leveling kit will be installed by lunch tomorrow. The tires will be on the focus tonight and I'm a happy camper. So to review Paid $500 for 4 new tires for the focus, install and alignment and traded the EMAXX for a Ready Lift that sells here for $240. I haven't used the EMAXX much in the last 3 years so I'd rather have the leveling kit.
Sweet deal? I think so. Yes I'm pumped! $500 for about $1100 I think I did very well.
