Default Gotts mod, mod...

So I was reading about the Gotts mod earlier today and then I remembered I had a cheap old CAI from my old mustang...

That's innovative. i want a straight tube that goes from the the throttle body to the start of the filter housing.

Spectre duct will do what you're wanting.

Im not sure about it....In my mind, I don't like making the air inlet lower to the ground for water and dirt purposes.

So by just putting in that pipe (the chrome one), will it mess up any computer readings or mass air flow readings?

AND You've just put your engine air intake where the hot engine compartment air exhausts. When the vehicle is moving, the low pressure behind the bumper sucks engine compartment air out through the big gaps in the radiator support.
