I have changed brands of gas. starting to wonder if one of the plugs is loose. It only pings going up hills.

I have done the gotts also, and I don't understand why this would make an '06 run lean.
Do you notice a loss of power? Have you reset the ecm? If not it will take a few tanks for the ecm to re learn, and if you increase the air flow it will have to do that. Run some fuel injector cleaner for a couple tanks. I have run lucas upper cylinder lubricant/injector cleaner and am really happy. Can't hurt to run some cleaner.
