Default got a question for ya

been checkin the new Bilstein 5100 shocks to give my truck another 2.5 inches.

now, the situation is that i already have a 2.5 leveling kit in the front. if i were to get the shocks, would it be best to take the lift off or leave it on and not extend the shocks?

opinions, por favor

Default Replace stock front shocks with Bilstein 5100 and already have 2.5" leveling???

I have the same exact question and welcome any and all input/suggestions. Would probably leave spacer and only use shock for additional 1/4" since I now have a heave ranch hand bolt-on up front.

Thanks to anyone who can help in advance!

Todd

If you get the shocks you will need to take the leveling kit off. IDK how adjustable those shocks are so I can't answer your (^) question, and I must say I have never seen or heard of anyone cranking them just that little bit. Most people run either the spacer or shock, but neither the spacer and the shock cranked a little. I know that it you run the shock on it's highest lift and the spacer, it won't even bolt up.

Default level kit

Spacer and Bilsteins....the only way it will work is if you leave the spring perch in the lowest position. Just getting the 2.5" lift spacer in is a chore. You'll never, ever get the spacer and extended shocks to fit.
