Default Got a question or two

Im new on here and I have noticed that there are literally thousands of posts about leveling kits and tire sizes. I recently installed a 2" kit on my 05 SuperCrew and was wondering if the front end needs alignment checked? I heard some say yes and others no. Secondly, do alot of you guys that are running say 285/75/18s see any difference in gas mileage? Lastly, has anyone ever heard of leveling kit less than 2" ? Reason I ask is I would like to keep my truck looking mostly factory with the exception of leveling and maybe 285s, I just think the leveling kit made the truck look too high in the front. Any help?

I want to keep the stock tires and rims but want to level my truck. Instead of raising the front 2 inches which tends to make the truck look like it has too much wheel well for the stock tires, I'm going to lower the rear end 2 inches to level the truck.

When it's time to replace your tires buy a slightly larger set to take up the gap in the front wheel well.

Other than that I think your truck looks nice as is!
