Got an offer for the truck

I think most know I listed my truck for sale and I have had a guy who has seemed really interested in it for a couple of weeks now. He just came over and took the truck for a test drive (with me as the passenger of course) and made an offer. He offered $22k for it, which was my absolute lowest price I was willing to go. I told him I would think it over and get back to him. Still wondering if I really want to sell though. Fair offer?

Here's a link to what KBB says private party sale is worth including some of the optional items I was able to add in.

What do you guys think?

I would pass on that offer just because of how long you have had it for sale.

^x2 give it more time

I guess the question you need to ask yourself is "How bad do I wanna sell it?" If your not sure about selling it yet, then don't settle for your rock bottom price.

Agreed, id give it more time or tell him you need at least 25k or something...But if you are really trying to get rid of it then take the offer....

also just remember the current economic standings. If you want to sell then sell, just keep in mind though there is the chance you won't get the next offer.....

one other side note.......keep in mind your location, you don't have the advantage of being state side. Shipping to a seller is probably not an option.

Reason I am thinking about letting her go is I just don't drive her that often anymore. Since I bought my first motorcycle last year the truck just sits and has become my rainy day/going golfing/wearing the dress uniform to work transportation. I have put a little over 1500 miles on the truck in the last 7 months. I can sell the truck and buy the wife something nice, keep her Honda for my rainy day/blah/blah/blah transportation and save $200 or more a month off the current $520 truck payment.

Money certainly isn't the reason I am selling though because the truck payment isn't hurting me, but if I can add another $200 or more a month to my retirement account then that will be better in the end. It is hard to think about letting her go though so I'm still trying to decide.

Sell it, and buy some goodies for your bike with the truck payment you'll be saving:thumbsup:
