Default Got a code p0605

Hi everybody,

Need some help before I'm off to the dealership.

A couple weeks ago my CEL came on so I pulled code p0605. After searching a bit it seems that it is either MAF sensor or PCM needs to be replaced... I cleaned the MAF sensor and reinstalled and cleared the codes. Truck seems to idle better but then a week after the p0605 code reappeared.

After searching more, it seems this code mostly comes from people that have installed chips/tuners and the pcm reads this as a corrupt file. My truck doesnt have a tuner though. It doesn't seem to be too common of a problem after searching the forums. What could this be? Do I need to replace PCM? Any idea of the costs of this?

Thanks! Corey

Take it to the dealer and they can re flash the PCM. If the re flash doesn't help the PCM needs to be looked at for corrosion from a leak or faulty connections.
