Default Good-n-Tight Method Okay?

I just finished the last part in rebuilding my front suspension. I used a torque wrench for the upper balljoint and lower balljoint and the tierod. Stuck a fat pipe on the lower strut bolt. And used a small pipe on the stabilizer link bolts and bar bushings. I didn't crank the bolts on for the bushing super tight (35 lb ft only) but I used a bar nonetheless. Would this risk excessive wear for the stab bar bushings or am I fine? I couldn't torque these ones due to my adapter snapping in half on one of the front suspension parts. I no longer hear any clunking at all, and the body roll is back to normal.

I think you should be fine. Just do your best to simulate a normal load on the links. Nice and tight, but don't smush the bushings

Roger that! I rechecked after you said that and I didn’t see any squeezing. I also had tightened everything with the truck back on its wheels

Default Its important to tighten lower strut bolt with wheel at ride level

To not stress the rubber bushing and cause it to rip later . I did not know this when I did mine so oh well too late-- but it made sense .The things you learn on here never stop . I did buy a 300 pound torque wrench in order to get the 295 required on wheel spindle nut . But the hurricane flood salt watered it, I cleaned and lubed it --oh well !
