You mean you're looking at the CAI & tuner combo? Personally I'd recommend the Air Force 1 as your CAI and either the Xcal III or Livewire with Troyer custom tuning for your tuner. You'll pay more than what the combo you're looking at cost, but I think they're a much better combo.

Default How much of an increase....

Honestly... How much of an increase can you get in HP and MPG?

I recently drove on a trip and obeyed the speed limit. I got 17.4 MPG, but I was passed by everything on the road. It's bad when a 70 year old woman gives you the bird as she goes by .

But Hey, I was always in the right lane.

with an economy tune from SCT, you should be getting about a 2mpg increase.

My friend had his 4x4 SCREW at Troyer for a dyno tune, besides the fact that it took them a month to dial the truck in and keep it from producing copious amounts of black smoke, when it was all said and done, the tune, AF1 3.5 intake, and Magnaflow SISO exhaust....the truck laid done 50hp over stock.

Don't mod for the increased gas mileage. Reason I say that is because no matter how much extra mpg's you see it'll take you years to recoup the amount of money spent on mods. Mod your truck because you want the extra performance and kick, that's why I did mine. I would love to get mine on a dyno and find out how much extra HP I'm making, especially with the new gears.

X2, you will never see a mpg increase return, you will only see it in the pedal and in the pocket book.
