Default Going to put some strobes in!

So my friend said he has an extra set of some strobes hes going to bring over. But only 2. So i was thinking about taking out my front hazard lights and putting the strobes in there. So everytime i turn my hazards on the strobes turn on. Anyone ever done something like this? Tell me what you think

It all depends on the type of strobes you are using. My strobes require a power pack and special strobe cables in order to work. Plus different strobes require different mounting hole sizes. Most of my installations require 1 in to 1 1/4 in holes. If you could provide more information about your bulbs I can help you out.

I got them in. I put them in the front where the hazards used to be. I had to add a switch and just put it in my dash. It required a power pack too, but i put that under my driver seat. Thery arent to bright in the day time because they are in the hazard light hole and there is an orange plate over it. but im happy. They were free so i cant complain. Cant wait to pull some people over

next post from windham14 : so i got arrested for impersonating a police officer with those strobes i put on because i was flashing them going down the road.

parking lots only man, you will get pulled over in a heartbeat if you turn them on on the road. minimum you will get a ticket, if you mouth off to the cop or the cop is having a bad day, you will be arrested for impersonating a emergency vehicle/cop.

Use them responsibly. I have the whelen 90w ones in my tails and use them for towing cars and stuff. Or even if you just happen to have an accident in front of you I usually block off the lane till the pd gets there.

You don't have to act like a cop you can have then on in a parking lot hanging out with friends and get arrested. Strobes are illegal to have in your car. Only emergency vehicles are allowed to have them. So really no point to have them cause you can never use them not even off road.

My buddy had a former cop car as his daily and it still had the lights in the grill headlights and tail lights. He turned them on while going down the dragstrip and a cop showed up and wrote him a $800 ticket. He lost the case in court even with the track owner going to court trying to help him fight it.

In FL, we can have Amber/White for construction and towing.
We use them when working at a house and we have to park on the street.
