So I know it's not PlastiDip but I used SEM Trim Paint to make my extremely faded bed rails, plastic on rear bumper, plastic below front bumper, and gold Lariat grille to a deep glossy black that made it look brand new. The paint is extremely easy to use as it sprays on so thin almost soaking into the plastic. So far a year has past in the Arizona sun and it still looks like the day I painted them.

I know this is completely off topic and everyone is going to hate me but what size are your nitto's in that picture. Reason I'm asking is because I'm looking at tires and I see you have the same stock 17" wheels as me!

Why do guys insist on painting their plastic trim?

Try this stuff it's not "paint" and it holds up for years,I 've sprayed several vehicles with it and wouldn't use anything else....

Why?

A: I did not know that product existed until now.
B: I have used Krylon Fusion on other projects with great, long term results.

Try it, you'll never use paint again...

The Honda black is the best for black trim but it comes on a lot of oem colors.

I have the same color truck as you and i plasti-dipped mine already. it holds up very well and and when a piece does peal all you have to do is tape it off and give it another coat or two. it looks great on the color of our trucks in my opinion.. i will post a piture here in a few mins.

I did the rear bumper because i want to get rid of all the chrome and i also did the running boards and it turned out great. When i have a couple hours again I will be doing the front bumper and the gas tank cap. When we add black accents to the color of our trucks it looks great.

Like i said earlier, in a little bit I will post a few pics of the rear bumber and the running boards done.

I love plasti dip too, I do have trouble keeping it on my step bar though. But I think it's more because when I jump in and how my leg and feet rub on that one spot and I probably didn't do enough coat, this was my first time using it.
