Make sure you listen to the engine after it has warmed up for atleast 20 minutes! My phasers only tick once the engine is hot. Weird about the steering wheel..... I doubt the dealer would change the plugs. If they will, then definitely get them to do it. whats with the junk in the box?

You have 2 pics showing the drivers side. Yes there are lots of reflections in the pics, and glare. but in both pics (from different angles) the drivers front door has more tan in the paint....Cant bet my life on it without seeing it in person, but i think the doors been painted.

hate the rims and tires also.

Is it worth it? given the mileage, and price...i wouldnt buy it. That's me though. Good luck!

You could probably find one with less miles for the same price just a lower trim.

I wouldn't buy it. Ton of miles and a lot of money for just a trim level. IMO. Good luck with it though.

Thanks for the input all, I really do appreciate it. It's not just the fact that's its a King Ranch. I like the sunroof, rear window, and leather.

I have 04 Maroon/black leather lariat, sunroof and rear window. With 120k on the clock, for $13,500 also. Bed has no bed liner and looks like ****.

Now I am looking at another 04 lariat Blk/Blk with 77k miles clean carfax for listed 15,900. drop in bed liner, front brush guard, cai, nice rims, (sunroof and rear window), looking clean!

Maybe the third one, but I think you can get a lower mile lariat or fx4 with those options for that price.
One of the things that sets the ranch apart, is it has it's own rims. Someone has taken that option, so its really now a lariat.

man that thing looks real clean on the inside. listen for the "tick" or diesel sound when the motor is running, if theres a "ticking" i'd stay away. check all your equipment ie; run the AC, check seat heaters, check all lights, turn the wheels hard left/right and listen for whining etc.... good luck and welcome to the wonderful world of F150!!!

Meguairs on the seats will help them. There is also another treatment for the KR seats that I bought for mine. I'm not sure that I can say WHO or WHERE I got it on here. It put some color back in the seats.

IMO, "someone" removed the steering wheel, and put a "Lariat" steering wheel on it. {If they did that, what else has been changed??}

I bought an 05 last year with 120,000 on it. Mileage is just a number as long as the truck has been taken care of. I am a dealer and that is right on as far as price. The steering wheel wouldn't necessarily bother me probably had some wear on it at one point and someone changed it out it happens all the time. I see hundreds of trucks at auction every week and that one looks really good and clean. If it is not ticking really bad then I wouldn't hesitate on it.

Cheack the mentioned items tick, 4x4 working,if not, a pricey repair, given the mileage unless the 4x4 actuators have been changed I would bet they need it unless someone actually used the 4x4 monthly. Steering wheel probably had wear, watches play hell on the covering on these trucks steering wheels.

I'm not a fan of the King Ranch but that is a nice truck. I don't know what fair market value is around your neck of the woods but that seems a bit high to me. I guess it's just where I live anything with that kind of mileage, regardless of the trim level is hard to sell. That truck would be priced much lower than that if it were here.

I would shop around quite a bit, and check the stickys on this forum for what to look for in these trucks.
