Hey guys,
I need to lock my glovebox (or another compartment big enough to hold a handgun) for when I have to leave my gun in the truck. Is there an aftermarket lock I could swap into the glovebox handle? Or another cheap-ish alternative for locked storage? (don't wanna drop $400 on a console safe)

 

Hopefully you found a holster by now. If you're leaving a gun in your truck I recommend a safe that's both hidden and bolted down.
The best bet is to take it with you.

 

I assume he goes to places he can't take a loaded firearm, thus needs to stow it temporarily. out of sight out of mind...
