Default Gibson cat back install questions

Just got the system in today. It's the sport dual system that both pistes exit behind the right rear tire. The instructions are terrible. The instructions must have been written by Jim Duggan because they say I need a hacksaw but I don't see where I use it. I get somewhere you will have to adjust for the different cab & bed lengths. The instructions don't really say where to do it. Any pointers would help. Hope to install this weekend
