Default Gforce Performance Chip

I have a 2004 Ford F150 5.4 Lariat. I am the operations manager for an ambulance service and I do a lot of driving between two counties. I was looking on the internet for a performance chip and came across the Gforce performance chip. I am not looking to "beef" up my truck, I am just looking to increase my fuel mileage. Has anyone installed one of these chips before? What is your opinion on them and are they worth the 69.00? I am currently getting around 12 to 12.5 mpg and it has 182000 miles on it. Still looks new and this weekend it is getting new spark plugs and new timing chains, tensioners, ect, ect Any input would be appreciated. Thank you for your time!

Search the site. You'll find it is simply a resistor that attempts to fool the intake air temp sensor. This causes bad a/f ratios and can cause damage and no power gains. A real programmer and all maintenance is the best bet.

If you want better gas mileage, buy a lighter truck. If you don't want to do that, buy a proper chip, but honestly the factory setup is probably the best for fuel mileage.
