Default Getting stuck in gear?

New to the forum and to my truck.
Background - 2008 single cab long bed 5.4 3v 4X4 less than 80k

Recently it seems like the transmission gets stuck in gear, it has happened twice when backing into the drive way, there is a slight uphill grade around a 45 degree angle and once while at a fast food drive through.

It lasts for around 3 seconds each and seems like the torque convertor is not 'letting go' and is trying to remain locked up.

When I purchased the truck around 1 month ago I noticed that the transmission fluid was low, I passed the truck every day for 6 days and nothing had leaked. After purchasing the truck I put some more fluid in to bring her up to the 'safe' marks.

I am worried that the transmission may have a problem, and at this point am getting discouraged that maybe getting it was not such a great idea. Has anyone heard of or had this issue or know what may help? Thanks in advance.
