Default Get a load of this bone headed move by me

So I was replacing the door lock actuator on the rear passenger door on my 2006 screw. Didn't think to bother setting the child lock to "off". When I put the door back together, the bar that works the door from the outside handle must have slipped off inside the door, because now the door will unlock but the handle doesn't do anything...

... Long story short, I can't get the door open from outside or inside...

I know, I'm an idiot.

So, is there any way to get the door to open, to turn off the child lock, to remove the handle on the outside to fix where the bar / hook fell out of place, without going as far as cutting the interior door panel off?

Stop by a local fire station. Jaws of Life will get it open. I'm sure they will appreciate an opportunity to practice using them.
