well everyone my feonce has informed me that she is going to buy me gears for my truck so i need advice im gonna go with 4.56 gear.what brand should i go with and how much will it run? thnx

 

Check out http://www.diffsonly.com/catalog/ for the gears. Yukon is one of the top brands in gears. Will probably run her in the $400-500 range for the gears themselves. Install prices are the killer unless you can do it yourself.

 

Folks here got me thinking I should go 4.88 instead of 4.56... do it once, do it right, and leave room for (you) 35s or (me and maybe you???) 37s in the ratio. I have 35s and may want to go to 37s at some point so it may be 4.88 for me. Consider "room to grow".

 

wont be installing them will have to get them instaled.. i have 35 inch toyo open countrys and i defo wont be going any larger then that so i think 4.56 wuld be best.thnx for the fast replies
