stupid question here but.. i have an 04 lariat 5.4 3.55 gears, put on 35s now wanna regear to 4.56s.. how do i figure out which rear i have is in 9.75 or 10.25.. looking at a good yukon front and rear set. anybody know of any good places offline to get these also. thanks!

 

If you have the 5.4L engine you automatically have the 9.75 axle. If you have a Heavy Duty F150 with 7-lug wheels than you have the 10.25 sterling axle.

V6 and 4.6 V8 both come with 8.8 only except for a few exceptions on the 4.6 I believe.

If you are 4x4 your front axle is always an 8.8 and you will need Reverse Cut Gears for you front axle.
