Hey guys got a question for somebody out there. Has anyone here did gear swaps in their f150? I am looking to go with 4.10s. I want a full posi was wondering if that the only way i can do this is the ring and pinion. I would much prefer to change the chunk but i know the 8.8 unloads from the rear. Just wondering if someone can give me some input on this.thanks.

 

I could be wrong about this but a ring and pinion set only changes the gear ratio. To get better posi traction without going full lock you need a locker like a truetrac or other types of lockers.
