I just bought a 2005 Ford 150 Lariat and the light under the gear shift just went out. Cannot see the letters (P, D, R). Fuse is fine. Any ideas on the problem and maybe how to fix. Any help would be appreciated!

 

need to replace the bulb...pull straight up on the cover it will pop off and replace the bulb.

 

Mine were out.... then they came back on... bulb must be loose. Good to know though!

 

I opened the center console and used a flat head to pop open the center piece. Replace the bulb for $1 and is working great. Thanks for the help!
