Default Gear Indicator lights

Are there supposed to be lights on the gear indicator by the shifter on an 06 F150 with the center console? It just seems like there should be, but mine doesn't have any with the lights on or off.

Just curious! Thanks!

Yep there definitely are and I'm guessing the problem is nothing more than a burnt out bulb. Check what kind of bulb you need and replacement is very simple it's just a matter of removing a few trim pieces to get at that bulb socket.

There's a how to thread on here with photos.

The bulb is a 194, and it's and easy fix.

I changed mine with a LED bulb in hopes I won't have to do the Jon for a while.

Thanks guys! I was hoping there was .. seems kind of silly to have everything else lit up and not the indicator.

It's possible that the bulb socket fell out of the hole...that's what happened to me. And the bulb doesn't fit in the hole very well for some reason
