Hi, I know there are several other threads on this, but none seem to help with my problem! I have owned my 05 f150 lariat for almost three years and just found out the gear indicators on the center console are supposed to be lit up! So I got to the bulb and replaced it with a 194 and tested it out... Still doesn't work... Pulled several fuses to see if any could be the problem, all were good... All my gauge cluster lights work and my overdrive works. It's just the indicator lights I can't get to work! I tried tracing the wire but could only follow it about 10 inches from where the bulb attaches and can't tell where it goes from there! Can anyone tell me why I'm not getting power to that one bulb?? And how to fix it! Thanks

Does the bulb socket look ok? If memory serves me correctly, the socket is prone to melting. Would think that would be obvious though when replacing the bulb.

Lol, I guess the new bulb I bought and put in was a dud! Switched it out for the other one in the package and all worked great!! Now I'm going to color the orange tab part with red sharpie so it matches the rest of the green and red gauge clusters!
