Default Gauge cluster temp sensor location.

2006 Ford F150 with 5.4l motor, A/C, 4WD, non-flex fuel, Pickup. Looking for temp sensor for gauge cluster location on motor. Local parts stores and Chilton's book are not helpful. I am not looking for CHT or Cylinder Head Temp sensor. Any help would be appreciated.

Is the OP talking about the outside air temp? Techrep is dead on if so. Right at the front hood latch.

"I am not looking for CHT or Cylinder Head Temp sensor" I assume he means air temp sensor because he referred to the gauge cluster..
