Guys

New to the site, and had a question. I have a 2008 F150 FX$ with the painted bumpers. I live in Alberta Canada, and we have alot of gravel on our roads in the winter. My front and rear bumper have suffered some rock chips, and now are rusting. I spoke with my dealer about it, and he just laughed. I have never had a truck with bumpers that look so bad, not even the 1975 GMC I won in a poker game.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make them not so hard on the eyes?
There are several routes I have thought about going, however all are $1000+

Does anyone know where I could get a simple prerunner bumper at a decent price? Most that I have seen are $900+ and there just isn't that much to them.

 

Just get them sprayed with bedliner.

I just had mine painted with imron truck paint (semi truck), apparently the oem paint is water born paint and weak as hell. I was told the paint i just used will hold up much much better
