Tried to start my 2008 King Ranch this morning. Battery dead.
Went and got a replacement.
I set the battery down in the tray, walked away to get a flashlight and hear ZZZZZZ and see smoke!!!
I didn't notice the terminals were opposite of the previous battery and the cables dropped down touched the battery.
So they + touched the - and _ on the +.
Got another battery and hooked it back up. Everything seems to be ok, truck started.
All power options seem to work, except the front and rear 12V power points and the radio are dead. Fuses in the passenger kick panel are ok though. Did I fry the fusible link(s). If so, are they repairable? Thanks in advance for any help!!!
