Default Fuse panel replacement

Hi everyone. I'm new here an could really use some help. I have a 2004 F150 XLT 4x4. Recently we had an ice storm and water got into my fuse panel. It shorted it out so I am in the process of finding a replacement. This is proving to be very difficult to find. My panel is 4L3T 14A067 AG. The closest I can find is a 4L3T 14A067 AC which is from a Lariat with more options than mine. The pin out configurations look the same so I was wondering if I can install this one and simply remove the extra fuses for the options I don't have. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How did an ice storm result in water getting into your fuse panel?

Not questioning your reasoning, just curious.

Not really sure actually. After the ice storm the radio was playing with the truck off. My girlfriend heard it when she walked by it. The instrument cluster also didn't work. I checked the panel and saw water. When I disconnected the connectors. ...more water. I took it out and tried drying and repairing it but it fried a connector when I reinstalled so I decided to change the entire unit.

You can, you just need to make sure it supports 4x4 if you have it. I have been running an XLT fuse panel in my XL for over a year.
