Default Fuse box ???

I have an 07 s/c 4x4 xlt and i have been trying to figure out why my powerpoint on the dash does not work i checked all the fuses and the connection on the back of the plug itself and all seems good by doing some research i have found that fuse # 39 should be for instruments and the front powerpoint but on my fuse box # 39 is blank with no fuse connection according to my panel cover it calls for a 20a fuse so i bought some fuses and pushed a 20a in and there is nothing there to hold the fuse so i climbed into the floorboard with a light and sure enough there is nothing behind there to even hold a fuse so im lost please any suggestions would be helpful i know that this is something minor but its just irritating to me when things dont work like they should

39 is on my electrical diagram, too.

Have you pulled the switch to make sure it is hooked up? Wires should be brown/pink (power from the fuse box) and black (ground).

If your refering to the powerpoint outlet the answer is yes i checked it to make sure it was plugged in and it is i just dont have any connections to the #39 fuse its wierd to me that the truck would have something that never worked but that looks to be the case

I would pull from the lighter before I pulled from the radio. You'll only be able to pull 20 amps from both plugins combined, though.
