fuse 14 blows in reverse
Hello,
I have a 2005 screw fx4, whenever I put it in reverse it blows fuse 14. I have disconnected the heated PCV to rule that out and just paid to have a new range sensor installed and it still blows the fuse. I found that connector C3138 (located behind the plastic shroud on the frame under the drivers side door near the fuel filter) is not in the best shape and has had a couple connections bypassed on the connector but that I have continuity all the way from the bulb to connector C3138 and into the vehicle so I am lost. Any advice?

Hey the best way to check for a bad connection is with a voltage drop test. There should be lots of info on the interweb for it. Basically even if there is one good copper strand a continuity test will show good but a voltage drop test will show the resistance under load.
