Default fuel pump issues

Hi guys and gals. I'm new to this forum. I was hoping to find someone that might be able to help. I have a 2006 f150 and every once in a while the pickup will turn over but not start. after it did this the first time I bought a new fuel pump and it started with no issues for a while then the fuel pump wouldn't come on. So a pulled the fuse in fuse block it was fine put it back in and it started.

So for a while now every time the pickup doesn't start I can pull the fuse and put it back in and it will start. I might go 3 or 4 months and it might do it every time i try to start it for a week. The fuse has never been blown. I am thinking about buying a new fuse block but would like to know if anyone else has had the same issues. Thanks

Have you checked the FPDM (fuel pump drive module)? It is mounted above your spare tire. You must lower the tire to see it. They normally corrode and deteriorate in a matter of time. If it has corrosion and or open to atmosphere, it should e replaced.
Get one on Amazon for about $60 or at the local parts store for about $100, More at Ford.
Check it out.

I will get a new one and see if it makes a difference. I swapped fpdm out with one a got off a wrecked pickup but maybe it wasn't no better than the one that came with my pickup originally. I couldn't tell that it was corroded, but that is a trouble spot so maybe a new one will do the trick. Thanks guys

If no corrosion or cracks it is most likely good.
