Default fuel module on a 7700

F150 2004 7700 CNG& Gasoline
Everything I have read on this wed site has been interesting and sometimes fun.
But now it’s time for me to put my first post on.
Read several threads about the fuel module and its location, but unfortunately, they all led to one picture of a fuel module above the spare wheel on top of a tube that went from one side to the other.
I removed my spare wheel, and there is just an X there, can’t see or feel anything on the X (made from steel.)
My thanks ahead of time to anybody who has any ideas.

Is your truck a heritage by chance? If so, it won't have the FPDM.

Hi Yes,
It is a Heritage,
What does it have instead.

Might want to ask someone in the model previous to 2004. They will give you more info. Unless someone here had the previous years and can let you know.

It has the previous system, which regulated fuel via a pressure regulator rather than modulating the fuel pump to regulate pressure.

My Thanks to Screamineagle, DrGriffin and gone postal.
I will not waste any more time looking for the module.
