I'm sure this has been covered and if so I'm sorry for bringing it up again. I broke the red clip on the inlet side of the line that goes into the fuel filter. Anyone have any idea's on the best way to fix this? I can't seem to find the clip on any local part store's website but I may not be looking it up right. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks Ford Famliy.

 

Some fuel filters come with new clips. I think the puralator I got from Amazon did. If nothing else go the the parts store and ask them to open the different manufacturers packaging to see if one does. You will have to buy the whole filter bit they aren't expensive.

I would do that but they do not come with the clips.

 

There are 2 sizes of fuel line clips and I don't remember what the sizes are. The part numbers are 7L3Z-9S317-A and -B. If you can't find them locally, look up United Ford Parts. There is one in Tulsa and one in OKC and they have them. Or let me know and I can get you their information.

 

In the Questions section, it says the filter comes with the clips, but I'm not sure if those are the ones you need.

If you're talking about the clips that are part of the fuel line fittings, Amazon has listings for both sizes listed by SWATPARAMEDIC:

That's what I need. I'm not sure which size but I appreciate all your help with this. I will first take these links to my local auto parts store and see if I can Find one but if not I'm sure I can figure which size I need and order it. Again thank you so much I was not having any luck finding it.
