Frozen Caliper??

Started smelling the "overheated brake" smell tonite - my right front. The entire wheel was hot. Pretty sure the caliper is locked up. Any other possibilities??

Check to make sure the caliper can move freely on the pins, but chances are the caliper is toast, especially if it's an OEM caliper.

I had that happen last week, collapsed brake line was the culprit.

Just happened to my truck too, the caliper was hanging up so replaced it and solved the problem. Also replaced the brake line to that caliper.
