Default Front visor sun issues

I am wondering if anyone else added on to the sun visor to block the front, maybe 11:00 position of the sun. the visor does not extend far enough to the left. It probably is my current route and the sun position but it has been hitting the right spot each day and blinding me, even with the visor down. Why didn't they make the visor an inch longer. For now I am using piece of cardboard and a clamp to fill in the gap.

On a serious note I have about an 8" strip of 5% limo tint that blocks those pesky UV Ray's from my eyes.

I also have the entire front windshield tinted with 50%, and the 5% strip is on top of that. Makes it hard for anyone to see inside the truck from the front and reduces glare at night. Especially those with bright lights.

If you are thinking of tinting you should take a look at this website for info. Most states allow a 4-6" band at the top of the windshield.

I got stopped by the state police in Michigan and was instructed to remove the tint on the front side windows because it was too dark. Previous owner had installed the tint. The tint did not seem to be too dark except at night when it severely restricted your ability to see through it. I removed it.
