Default front suspension

when replacing or adjusting the lower control arm you're told to load the lower control arm before tightening the bolts if you do not do this what would be the effect on the front end would the lower control arm be lower than normal and would that create stress on the upper ball joint

The affect would be the bolt not being fully tightened, resulting in slack in the suspension, which results in poor ride quality and possibly damaging some of the components.
