Default Front Receiver Install Question

I'm getting ready to purchase a front receiver for my 2005 XLT super Crew. After doing research and searching through this forum there wasn't a whole lot of information. I mainly see 2 brands of front receivers for Gen-11 F-150's, Draw Tite 65043 and Curt 31352 receiver hitch options. I've watched install videos on both and decided on the draw tight 65043 set up. With the Curt option, you have to thread bolts through the sub frame and notch out your front cross member which seems much harder then the 4 bolt side install of the Draw Tite hitch. They both are rated for the same 9000lbs of line pull so my questions are,
1) Has anyone installed this hitch, opinions
2) Do you have to permently remove your front tow hooks
 when installing.
3) Any Pics of members rigs
