Default Front Locker

I'm installing a rear aussie locker in my 07 f150 and am also looking to install a front locker. Lockright has one for the ford 8.8 28 spline differential. Will this fit my truck?

Assuming it actually does completely unlock and allow full differential action in turns, it would be a great traction device. I wish you could get an E-lock for that axle. Its on or off with a switch. My concern is the Lockright might want to lock under power, which will nearly kill steering. I would think application of torque is what makes it engage.

I had front and rear aussie lockers in my old jeep and loved them. The lockers werent even noticeable on road aside from the traditional clicking.

I may just have to live with only having a rear locker in the f150. I contacted summit racing and they said the lock right wont fit the front, which is weird because isnt the front diff on these f150s an 8.8 28 spline?

I also asked them about an elocker and they said there is not one available. Well I want to know which elocker this guy installed??

Front is reverse splined, that's why it won't fit. Go with an arb for the front.

The front has a reverse rotation pinion, but it surprises me that the carrier/differential unit is any different.
