Default Front license plate relocation.

I recently installed a light bar in the front bumper and was looking for ideas on how to mount my license plate without having to drill into the bumper. Now before I get all the jokers in here saying that they dont run it or blah blah. That is not what I am looking for. I want to know how those of you have made custom or use aftermarket mounts. Thank you.

I think anything that hangs lower than that would be in danger of getting damaged. Any kind of bracket would probably block the beam though. Would have to be something that's off-center. Did a search and couldn't find anything for our year-model trucks. Guessing it has to be custom. Sorry, no real help.

That is exactly the conclusion I have come to. I have a few ideas in my head but nothing on paper. Hoping someone else can give me some more ideas.

Unless, you took off the stock plastic front plate holders that a lot of cars come with, shaved to fit and then attached to bumper via high strength adhesive or a self tapping screw with built in rubber washer. Then again, you stated not wanting to drill in.

Never mind screw, wouldn't work for that application. Would need a bolt that goes all the way through..

My idea was to create a mount the came from behind the bumper and hung the license plate off to the side. The bumper would have to be removed to install the mount.

i did the same mod. havent been running a front plate in over 5 years, even before i had the light bar. Front plate is required here but ive never been pulled over or told to put it on. I keep the plate in my back seat just in case i need to come up with an excuse or throw it into my front window. thats my solution :-/

I installed the front hitch receiver, then bought the flat winch mount. I JB welded the front plate mount frame to the winch mount.

Since I plan on getting a removable winch. I can just unplug the plate when I'm offroading and need the winch.
It's been mounted that way for almost a year now. No issues.
