Default Front end vibration

Hello to the group and good day. I have a 2006 F150 XLT Super Crew 4 door 4x4 with the 5.4 Triton engine and 217000 kms. The truck has been stored outside for 8 months. I have recently started using it again and quickly noticed a vibration in the front end that is more pronounced at certain highway speeds. I notice the vibration in the steering wheel and feel it in the cab. The front rotors and pads have been recently replaced. At low speeds, I don't notice it at all. I rotated the tires since they needed it done anyway and it did not seem to help with the vibration problem. I had not noticed the vibration previous to parking it. The front end seems otherwise tight on the highway with no travel, wandering or pulling one way or the other. On visual inspection of the front end, everything seems tight with no looseness that I can find.

Would a seized front U joint cause these symptoms? Appreciate any suggestions or thoughts. Thanks

Does it have factory wheels? I had a bad batch of stick on weights on my old XDs once, over the winter when I had them off (stored outside like a brain surgeon) one fell off and then I ended up hosing a couple more off when I washed them in the spring, the tire guy figured I ended up with some weights with a bad batch of glue.

Did one of your tires have some of that fix-a-flat garbage in it?

It sounds to me like something is up-setting the balance of your front tires. Was there any muck or something in your wheels when you parked it? What can happen is you'll have mud or something in your wheels when you park it, they'll be fine cause its reasonably evenly spread amongst your rims, half will fall out as it dries out while sitting and wham bam its Rodeo city when you get back in action

Thank you so much for the post. The truck has factory wheels- I inspected them looking for evidence of missing wheel weights and everything looks OK. I also cleaned off any mud I found sticking to the inner rims when I rotated the tires. The tires are about 50% tread and were on the unit when I bought it last year. I have no other history on them. I also checked tire inflation and brought all tires up to 45 PSI (within specs for the load). The left rear tire was down to about 20 PSI after storage.

Things like broken belts, balancing, etc I probably will need a garage to check.
