i have a 2008 fx4 and when i hit bumps there is alot of noise from the front left i can feel it in the gas pedal and it sounds like its coming from the wheel well area, any idea or help would be great

 

what kind of noise?

 

sounds like a ball joint jack up the front of the truck and check for any slop in the ball joints by pulling up and down on the wheel!!

 

Could be a bad strut.

 

cracked coil spring maybe

 

it sounds like something is loose but nothing feels that way, and there is like a grease drip for the front axle where the axle ends and the shaft goes to the wheel. should i get it looked at buy the rapers at the dealer

 

i assume being an 08 it's got a warranty, if not, let them diagnose it and tell you what it is, we do that here all the time, lol, but up here they don't charge you nothing to look at it.
