Default Front end pop

So i have a '08 f150 with 97k miles.... Ive noticed there has been a pop in my front end of my truck... Its been going on for about a year now and has been getting worse. It only happens when i turn my steering wheel... Any idea what it could be?

Get underneath and check out every bushing or check for wear from something rubbing. There's quite a few things it could be. Mine was the lower bushing in the strut on the driver side. It blew apart so there was metal touching when turning and hitting a bump. But it could be any one of the linkages down there.

Just turning the wheel with the truck stopped? Or turning while driving?

If its a 2wd and it makes noise when driving and turning then it may be the wheel bearings when you turn left weight gets transfered to the right and when you turn right weight transfers left

A bad wheel bearing will start to make grinding and metal popping noises when you put weight on it but may act fine when driving straight

The 2wd models have wheel bearings pressed into the rotor so you gotta buy a rotor and the spindle nut.

This is a common problem with the 2wd and try even have a kit to fix this from reocurring on rock auto

The rotor gets too hot and forces lubricant out of the bearing making your truck sing magicall tunes in parking lots.

It pops sometimes on bumps. But almost always when i turn. It stopped for awhile after i took the level off it and then started again.
