Default Front driveline issues...

I have an 05 xlt 4x4 with the 5.4 3 valve. When I accelerate with the wheels straight, no isues. When the wheel is turned and throttle is applied (like in a parking lot) it feels like the four wheel drive is trying to kick in. When 4h is on, it feels like it's binding up really bad.
I have the newer firewall mounted module (4h just flashes once) and I tested the iwe (they did not his vacuum very long)...so my question is...are my iwe needing a replacement or is it something else? Thanks, all.

It sounds like you are describing normal 4 wheel drive operation...I have a similar (if I'm understanding your description correctly) issue when in 4WD Hi...I usually turn to 2WD when having to do the tight parking maneuvers because of this...my 4WD seems to operate normally in any other situation...

However, I get some of it in 2 wd...that is the main question. Why would I get that "feeling" in 2wd? I have never had a 4we system act like that before...HMMWV and Jeep Cherokee didn't bind on concrete.
