Default front directions

OK so this is the most basic of questions, simply due to my lack of familiarity with these Fords.

Are the front amber marker lights also directional indicators, the ones outboard of the headlights next to the fenders? Logic says yes, as there's no other way to see a directional indicator from either front quarter view from the point of view of other drivers, and that's how it is with my other vehicles; neither of mine blink, but both turn on with the headlights/parking lights (steady amber).

Just curious if I need to replace the bulbs before going through the effort of pulling out the headlights, possibly for nothing.

No. They are just parking / marker lights.

and .. you don’t have to pull the head light to change bulbs.. even if you did,it’s easy.

I don't see how it's possible to get a hand back there to change bulbs without pulling out the headlight, I certainly cant.

I did it last spring to replace a headlight bulb; no where near as difficult as, say, a timing job, but I've got enough on my list of to-dos that I didn't want to waste the time pulling the headlights for no reason.

Thanks for the clarification on the turn signals/marker lights.
