I just bought a 2007 F150 FX2 Sport that I would like to do some minor modifications to, and I have some questions.

First of all, I know this is unusual and odd, but I would like to replace the sport valance on the front bumper with a standard valance which comes on the other submodels. Are those valances interchangeable, or do I have to replace the entire bumper assembly? Obviously, replacing the valance only is a much cheaper option.

Secondly, this truck came with lower profile tires than I desire. Can I just replace the tires with a higher profile size, or will I need to put a lift kit on before hand?

Sorry for my ignorance... I've just recently become interested in this type of thing. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

A lot of guys on here add the Fx2 valence, so I'd bet it's a pretty easy swap. You could probably find someone on here that would trade you for the one you want.

What is your current tire/wheel size? You should be able to fit 31x12.50s stock.

They're 18 in. rims, but I'm not positive about the tire size. I'll have to look.

No problem.

You can look into adding a "leveling kit", they are cheap, easy to install, and will allow you to fit up to around a 33x12.50

 

im not sure if they are an easy match but id swap out with ya, ive been looking for a sport's valance!!!!
