Default Front Bumper Swap

I'm looking to replace my damaged front bumper. Currently, it doesn't have fog lights. I'm wondering, how difficult would it be to swap it out to a bumper with fogs?

I doubt seriously that Ford would make different wiring harnesses for every possible option. Are the wires there already? I know I'll also have to change out the headlight switch inside as well. But, is it just plug and play or do I have to run new wiring?

Thanks in advance.

Well, I just went on to eBay and bought what I needed. (I found the answer on another forum after a couple of hours of looking)

New chrome bumper w/ fog holes
New L & R lamp brackets
New lamps
Used headlight switch w/ fog light

I'm sure I'll need some nuts and bolts too. But, those I can get from the hardware store.

Also picked up an A.R.E. II hard cover yesterday (wrong color (red)). Bought primer and paint today as well (right color (white)).

VERY much looking forward to having these mods done!

So did you find out whether you had the fog light wiring or not on your truck?

My truck is an XLT. The wiring should be there tucked under the headlights. If not, I also found a wiring diagram in case I need to do a hard-wire. Everywhere I've looked, anyone who has done this with an XLT has found the pigtail there.

The only other wiring issue I've got now is; my new bed cover can be locked and unlocked with the remote. I just don't know where to tie in the wiring.

I been reading up on doing the bumper swap for a while and just recently bought the stuff I need.

Bumper with fogs
Fog light switch
9145 pig tails

I checked my truck (06 XLT) for the fog light harness and it's not there but is wired from the headlight switch to the fuse panel in the passenger side kick panel. All you have to do is run power from the fog light relay in the fuse panel to the fog lights and also ground them and your golden!
