Default Front axle seals

Anyone know if the front axles on our trucks are the c clip type like the rears are? I ask because both front axle seals are leaking and need to be replaced. Wondering if I can just pull them out or do I need to pull the diff cover and remove c clips first.

I've got moisture all the way around where the cv axle bolts to the "stub coming out of the carrier" on both sides of the truck. I guess I should have worded my original post a little differently.
