Default Frame rust

hey everyone so I live up here in western mass and every year the amounts of salt they put on the roads is unbelievable so I was wondering what everyone uses to fight the war on rust. I have been thinking about painting the frame (so far just surface that around welds)

I strongly believe in using truck bed lines, I have 4 trucks and all of them have bed liner on them. Very durable and never had a problem since!

yah I think painting the frame and undercoating the body is the way to go some paints like por15 are very expensive tho but bed liner sounds like a better choice

If you want to stop the rust bedliner will not do it, POR 15 will. Go cheap if you want but under that cheap bedliner the rust will still be growing. IMO, $50 to protect your frame is a small price to pay.

I live in NH and i spray all my trucks with bedliner and undercoat the cab, never hav i seen rust since i did it. Rubberized truck bedline from advanced auto parts is the way to go!!!

Bedliner will not stop rust, plain and simple. It will cover it up for a while but will not stop it. Do as you wish, its your truck but the rust will not relent.
