Well guys I found the one. Before anyone harps on the fact that this is a late model thread I just want to throw out there that this is an 2003! In light of all the 5.4 issues in 04-08, and the fact that a 4.6 4x4 Screw was impossible to locate, I opted to save some money and get into an 03'. On the same note, my wife will be needing a new SUV in about a year or so...so a newer model was out of the picture since I'll need to get the truck paid off soon...and...we just purchased a house with a pretty big mortgage...all that said, here is the truck. 2003 F-150 Super Crew 4x4 FX4 Lariat 5.4L, 3.73 LS gears, fully loaded and clean car fax and title in hand. 144k miles, all ran through by a reputable mechanic and super clean. I paid $10,959 which was more than I wanted to pay but hey, I fell in love with the truck and it runs and drives amazing.

Lol the inside does look like a Taurus!! It was function over form for me on this truck....I mean all the extra options were just kind of a luck deal. I was more focused on a reliable engine, clean and solid ride, and an affordable price point than anything

i have a 2005 fx4 with a 6 inch fabtech lift 35inch nittos cold air intake, and an edge programmer with 122000 miles with new timing chains, guides, tensioners, covers, and a rebuilt trans by ford. im asking 16000 for it. may negotiate. pm me if interested, may be willing to take a road trip for the right price.

Idk if I'd give that much for that year. Its 9 years old. With cam phaser issues I had an 04 with 165k I sold for $7100 mine was blue tho and a supercab. Had a bit more miles but still half the price. Than I bought an 03 for $7500 lol. No cam phasers or any of those problems. When I bought my 04 with 147k a week later I had to have tranny rebuilt. Cause it lost reverse.
Really??? I just bought a blue FX4 with 164k miles today, just had tranny rebuilt??? weird. $5800 sounds like a diesel when warm.
